I got around to completing a little side project shot in 4k resolution with my Google Nexus 6P. Nothing crazy, simply some travel footage. I feel like the choice of music went perfectly to the visuals. Cheers.

I'm often ridiculed for taking photographs and video in public. I simply have a strong desire to create short films that en-capture the way I feel in the very moment. I'll let the viewer create their own story.



One day I'll have better gear.

This was the crew and I a month ago - trying to get some rad footage with a GoPro zip tied to a tripod leg at Mosport haha. Not too bad for our first attempt. I'm excited to do more of these ... with better gear.... and of course a lot more action!

There are a lot of things we choose to do in life, but sometimes, unfortunate events occur that not only physically kill our passions, but limit the possibilities.

After watching this video, I not only feel more obligated to follow my dreams, but I'm encouraged to know that if you have a strong desire, you will succeed.

Meet indy car driver Michael Johnson. The 20 year old lost the use of his legs 8 years ago due to a motorcycle accident.

My favourite video of 2013. Truly amazing. Michael Johnson is my hero. Hope to see him do big things for the future in Indy 500!

Shot on location in Calabria, Naples and Bari using 4K cinema cameras, "A Golden Light Underneath My Car" is a short film from Alexander Basile that shows off the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Carhartt WIP. As explained by Carhartt creatives, "Bari shares many similarities with the great expanse of Detroit, showing an extraordinary mismatch of 1960-1990 urban architecture. This is a story of the strong friendship needed to survive in a modern day metropolis." The result is a contemporary take on the classic lookbooks of yesteryear - subtlety mixing sartorial offerings with a "never forced" narrative.

More often than not, classic car owners deliberate whether to use their cars as daily drivers or keep them as garage queens. Why can't one car be everything? Black Beauty, Jack Olsen's Porsche 911 RSR, gets the royal treatment in The 12-Gauge Garage, but it also proudly wears rubber on the street and the track.

Jack built an enviable shop out of a suburban, two-car garage and worked on it until its engineering, design, and function matched that of the Black Beauty, a Porsche through and through.
