REAL LIFE - 52 BOOK CHALLENGE

Alright, so we all know about the new years stuff. Resolutions and what not. Well, to be honest, I'm not too fond of doing things in such a manner.. probably because I see myself as a nonconforming hipster whom purposely chooses to avoid anything to do with popular trends. ^.^

On the flip side... a personal goal of mine happens to be self development. And what better way than broadening the mind, increasing one's vocabulary and reliving a tale or two than digging into a hefty novella?

So without further ado, I present to you, the 52 Book challenge.

Essentially, the plan is to read a book a week.

Absolutely marvellous biography. I''ve even incorporated a few habits from it. 1 down, 51 to go!

Current electronic novella. I would also recommend this to anyone looking for something different and mind bending.

I wanted to start off the first few with stuff relating to my field of study, so this is a small compilation of what's in mind so far (had a bit of help via forums);

I'll create a list to aid myself in keeping track within the next few weeks. Even if I'm not able to complete a book in a week, the goal is still 52 books by the end of the year. Now, if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears!

New Year

2014 has started...almost a week ago, and to start things off, I've come up with a resolution for the new year (I know I'm incredibly late).

The plan: Changing things up a tad bit in terms of this blog including layout and content.

First and foremost, I have taken the liberty of editing the genre of music which plays the minute you step into Pizo to something a bit more relaxing and comfortable for the readers. Personally, this is what I prefer while browsing the web, be it at home, or at the coffee shop, so I figured it only to be right. Ultimately adding another personal element into the mix which hopefully many of you enjoy (be it your first or ten billionth time listening) and even get into the habit of just leaving it open to play (as I do at times).

Genres: Luvstep, Liquid Drum and Bass, Chillstep, Progressive Trance, Vocal.

Sometime within the next few months, I will have my website finished up, and as a result, this blog will be moved to it as well as a plethora of other things on the agenda for change. The addition of  interests including; Mens Fashion (substitute for "Style"), Architecture, ElectronicsTechnology and a personal section titled Real Life. This plan also includes a significant increase to the quality of all content with a more indepth and organized approach to the posting of information. I'd really love to take a more detailed approach to this, rather than spewing out pages and pages of "ouuu look at dat!" which 90% of the time is completely irrelevant and just fillers for lack of content.

Anywho, be sure to stop by every now and then to experience a fresh new look and access to some interesting material. I will most likely set up a schedule as to when things will be posted. I'm very much still stuck in the "experimental" stage of things which are ..umm... all over the place haha. I'm thinking something like -

  • Monday - Engineering/Motorsports
  • Tuesday - Architecture
  • Wednesday - Real Life/Mens Fashion
  • Thursday - Technology
  • Friday - Electronics
  • Saturday - Music

Thanks again for supporting by checking in (to the regulars) and to everyone else who has either randomly clicked on my blog because of hot links on signatures I have on the various forums!

2013 was a very interesting one, full of learning and self development, however 2014 will be bigger, badder and hopefully chalk full of monumental experiences!

Be sure to post any suggestions below in the comment box, and check out my other media streams (which will ONE DAY be linked to this blog haha)

"The new year is a blank slate full of possibility. It is a time to look back and rejoice in what we have accomplished, however, now it is time to look forward, with hope and optimism.- Anonymous

2014 Porsche Panamera

Originally unveiled in 2009 at Auto Shanghai, the Porsche Panamera was hailed by enthusisats as the four door sedan marking the long awaited production update to 1989's Porsche 989 concept vehicle. Now, the German auto manufacturer has unveiled the 2014 edition of the automobile. Replacing the old 4.8 litre V8 engine with a Biturbo 3.0 litre V6 under the hood.

The car's smaller engine actually produces more power than the previous design, creating 420 hp alongside 384 lb-ft of torque.

Additionally, the upcoming model year marks the debut of the Panamera S E-Hybrid edition, an improvement over the previous hybrid that now boasts a more powerful electric motor and lithium-ion battery for an improvement in gas mileage from 33 mpg to 76 mpg. Bulled as the first luxury plug-in hybrid, the Panamera S E-Hybrid is also faster than the previous electric and can go from 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds with an electric top speed of 84 mph.

Finally, cosmetic upgrades to the design include everything from a larger rear spoiler and more angled rear window to LED lamps and a multifunction steering wheel.

Look for the Panamera across the globe later this year.
