Lamborghini Veneno

Another post of the Veneno. From the Miura of the 1960's to the Countach in the 1980's to more recent designs like the Gallardo, Murcielago and Aventador. Lamborghini has been the hallmark of contemporary supercars since its establishment in Italy nearly five decades ago.

Lambo's place at the pinnacle of high-powered automotive luxury remains firmly in place with this year's introduction of the Veneno: a $4.7 million USD behemoth that not only celebrates the manufacture's 50th anniversary, but also exists as the single most expensive production vehicle in the world.

Under the hood lays a modified take on the Aventador LP700-4, a naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine now boasting 750 horsepower which boasts acceleration times of 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 221 mph.

Lamborghini has plans of creating a special Roadster version priced at $4.4 million in the near future.

50th Anniversary Lamborghini Veneno

Following Porsche, Lamborghini has unveiled its latest work of art ahead of this year's Geneva Motor Show.

The Veneno, designed in honor of Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, is based on the Aventador LP700-4 and features a modified version of the automobile's naturally-aspirated 6.5 litre V12 engine - now boasting 740hp and a top speed of 220mph - alongside a complete redesign of both the interior and exterior.

The menacing $4.7 million USD Veneno will only be available in the form of three production models in il Tricolore's green, white and red - all of which have been spoken for.
